Dr. Dehghan received his medical degree from the St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1994. He completed a rigorous training program in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at the St. Louis University Hospitals. Additionally, Dr. Dehghan completed his Bachelor and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry at the University of Victoria B.C., Canada.
Dr. Dehghan is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the Surgery staffs of Anderson Hospital , St. Anthony's Health Center, and Alton Memorial Hospital. He serves on the specialty consulting staff for Plastic and Hand Surgery at Gateway Regional Medical Center.
Dr Dehghan's training emphasized General, Plastic, and Hand Surgery with an interest in Pediatric, Reconstructive and Cosmetic surgery. He has extensive research experience with multiple publications in the field of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Dehghan is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His main interests are in facial and cosmetic surgery, and in surgery of the breast. He is also interested in the management of pediatric and reconstructive surgical problems.
